Precious initially entered the Henderson animal shelter as an owner surrender because they were losing their housing. She has lived with other dogs, cats, and children. She is used to having a doggy door.

Precious is a friendly and calm older gal. She is easy to leash and walks a slow pace. She does bark at some of the dogs when they walk by her kennel but was friendly when she approached other dogs. A meet-and-greet is recommended if you have another dog at home. She could use a home that will help her lose some weight with easy short walks and a well-maintained diet.
