Sampson is a 10yo Catahoula/Heeler mix who FureverNV pulled in May 2024 directly to a foster. Sam’s perfect home is to find someone who will cuddle with him and give him the attention he so desperately seeks. This guy is super affectionate and loveable. He wants nothing more than to curl up next to you on the sofa and watch a little TV or read a book in bed.

Sam is ever-present. He wants to be wherever you are (even in the bathroom if you will let him!)  He is good-natured with a gentle demeanor. He loves saying hi to humans and is great with other dogs. And don’t let his age fool you. He’s got the energy of a much younger lad. He absolutely loves to go for walks and will walk as far as you have the time and energy for. He can easily jump in and out of the car for whatever adventure you want to take him. He’s game for it all!  

Sam is a Catahoula leopard dog; a breed you don’t see often. Please give this amazing boy a chance. You won’t regret it!
